Profile
Azar is a grumpy demon that takes and organises the souls of beings that have made deals/pacts with other demons. They have an inter-dimensional office that anyone involved in a deal/pact end up in after dying, in which Azar directs them to (or decides) where their deal/pact has assigned them after death (usually to become a lesser demon... Or something like that).
Their patterning is usually a bright lilac, but changes to a duller, red colouration when in an area with a lower magical concentration, e.g. human worlds.
They have books and libraries and documents and stuff filled with souls, so they open the book to find the person’s soul and it will appear floating above the book (along with information on the page about the person, their deal, etc.)
In one fantasy timeline they have to deal with Christopher after he kicks the bucket
Which is… interesting
Azar is a huge fan of Ancient Greek mythology, is very Tired™, and often very moody but also lonely
Very very closed up, but really wants to know a world outside of their own, wants to explore, craves emotional intimacy that they’ve never really experienced before
I have an idea to use them in a modern setting, but in disguise as a human working as a barista or a librarian, but haven't worked on that very much yet so we'll just have to see.
