territory

Frontierclan is a very varied place. Half the land is field, half is pine forest, with a river in the middle. Not too strange, but then you’ll keep going and find that the forest drops off abruptly down a sheer cliff. A straight drop with no way to see the bottom. The cats of this clan call their little home the edge of the world, the last frontier - indeed, that is where they got the name.

. Brightside field is across the large river, far away from the camp. It isn’t visited all too often outside of patrols because of the difficulty in crossing the water. When one does make their way over, though, they’ll find a vast, green plain, grass taller than most cats, and rabbits hiding in their holes. 

. It's named for the sun that always shines upon its surface.

. Blackthorn river itself is incredibly wide. The only safe way to cross is by using the series of small islands, else it’s far too easy to tire out and be swept away. Many a cat has been lost to the river.

. The river is clogged with thorns in many places, hence the name.

. Homewood forest is, well... home. It’s where most of the clan does all they need to do. The trees are huge, but welcoming. A light fog often rests over the trees, and the ground is thick with bushes and brambles. It’s important to watch your step, so you don’t accidentally get too close to the cliff. Falling down would mean certain doom.

These are the cats who love adventure. The cats who are daring, dangerous, thrill-seeking. They value the brave and the creative, the ones who are willing to explore beyond the territory and come back with new discoveries.

. This group will accept almost anyone who comes by, wanting a new home. They're incredibly open. Of course any newcomers will be watched for a while to ensure that they don't mean harm, but if they don't cause any trouble they'll be welcomed into the clan.

. Being so isolated, they don't have any humans nearby. There are, however, a lot of threatening wildlife, and as wild as Frontierclan is, they've learned how to live peacefully with their larger, dangerous neighbors.

camp

The camp is called the Hollow, so named because it's a dip in the ground, leading to a clearing hidden by brambles and trees. In the center of the Hollow is a fallen tree. This is used for meetings and other important events. Around the edge lie two rooms, built of leaves and sticks. The first is the medicine storage. Sick cats stay here, as do the medicine cats when necessary. The other room is one large space where the whole clan sleeps together. It gets fairly cold at night, and sharing body heat is really the only way to be comfortable during the long nights.

. There is a third room, but it's messy and very rarely used.

. The hollow is a short five minute walk away from The Void - the cliff's drop off. Kits are not allowed close to the edge under any circumstances, and apprentices are only allowed while under supervision.

- they have a thing once a week where they all head over to the cliff and scream into the void. it's really fun. It's also how they talk to Starclan.
