- He has two beauty marks on the left side of his face (one just on the left of his nose and another just above the edge of his mouth)
- There is a horizontal scar on his cheek. He got it because he used to sleep in the same crib as his next younger brother and he was scratched
- His hair can be any color, however, the dark purple from his neck and tail is the default followed by the light purple (I don’t think I’ll get gift art of him but if I do then go off on his hair, I don’t mind!)

02 — Personality
Avery is a wonderful friend to have. He’s very patient and fun loving, and he’s always down to hang out whenever. Even if he’s not saying much, his love language is definitely quality time. He’s a hopeless romantic, and once he falls, he falls hard. It comes to the point where he gets sad about his love life at times, but he doesn’t really tell anyone about it. He only reveals his soft side to those who are close to him, and if he considers you to be a close friend, he will protect you and be there for you no matter what. He always does his best with his responsibilities, such as school and his job, however, it can weigh on him a bit. Avery is an Aries through and through though, and while he struggles with asking for help, he is too stubborn to give up.
He is the second of five siblings, having one older sister, two younger brothers, and a youngest sister. His family life is a little tumultuous since his parents divorced, however, he makes the best of what he can. Avery is very close to his older brother and sister, telling them just about everything, and takes on a sort of parental role for his younger siblings. He loves his father very very much, however, his relationship with his mother tends to be tense as he doesn’t agree with many of the things she does.

Real world
“… he describes the healing me” I wrote in a text message to my friend on November 10, 2022. I very much mean it. I bought Avery in the midst of huge changes in my life that left me feeling powerless and hopeless for the first time in a long time. I will not lie, I did not think much of him despite checking often to see if anyone purchased him before I did. Something keeps bringing him back to me though, and I have a feeling that Avery is going to mean much more to me than any character has in a long time. I modeled him not only after who I wanted to be, but also someone who I love very much. She is why he has his birth mark and his scar, I always loved them on her. He reminds me that it’s okay to cry, that it’s okay to let out my emotions and I’m valid for feeling them, but also to keep my head high and continue with this beautiful life I have. “Ich liebe mich,” a phrase I continue to write on his hand drawn pictures, spoken by one of my most self assured students, “I love myself.” I know he will continue to prove that there is good in the world and it’s okay to be sad, but never to give up. That’s what I think when I look at Avery anyways.

- He is a Mucuchies and White Swiss Sherpherd mix, and is very proud of his Latin heritage. He speaks fluent Spanish, learning from his parents.
