- one of the most idolised knights in the continent. is a popular figure looked up to by the children of chevalin.
- as the grand commander, and one of the sentinels of the gilded lance, soba is mainly deployed to defeat larger evils in the land. he deals mainly with the threats to the kingdom and their rulers, leaving the more minute problems such as petty criminals, and the wellbeing of other nobles unrelated to the monarchy to those of lower rank.
- is capable of minor magic, largely force magic, although he's able to use some frost magic as well.
- his parents are both earthbound. they were confused when his powers manifested, and familial problems arose. this was resolved (vulnerably), but then came their own paranoia of being found. they hid his magic for years before defecting from the leaurevian empire to chevalin.
