Story
Flix was dangerous when his mood was turbulent, and the constant teasing of his packmates was affecting the pack's livelihood. Conscious, Flix could not control his powers very well, and when upset, his emotions often did the talking. After nearly drowning a fellow packmate during a disagreement, the pack elders agreed that, while the teasing had gone overboard, even more vital to the pack's survival was Flix's responsibility to learn how to control his abilities. And nothing they were teaching him were working. Flix chose to go explore the world, to find other teachers who could help him.
Additionally, he and his tribe did not get along well with the Liekkan pack under Samulen's rule. Samulen was ambitious, greedy, and wanted as much territory as he could seize -- a byproduct of his pack's barren lands. He heard stories from the elder warriors, about how the previous heir, Thomassen, would have been a much better, much kinder, more diplomatic ruler. Thom was not only the eldest son of the alpha pair, but was also the only one of his pack to wield the ability of fire. Thus, he was also the rightful heir to the throne. Flix, wanting to prove himself during his self-imposed exile, vowed to bring the usurped throne back to its rightful king.
