Edea Veras

Edea was born in Midgar, in the Sector 6 slums, to a very poor family. Her childhood was often rough, but her parents did their best to give her a good life. Unfortunately, the nature of how bad life really was in the slums would eventually start chipping away at Edea. Going hungry often, barely scraping with rent payments, and having her family consistently exploited by people with more money than them. She slowly grew more desensitized to crime, and eventually violence, and when her parents finally passed just as poor as the day she was born, her anti-Shinra sentiment grew to become more radical, and she got involved with some of the seedier characters that she'd seen in the Sector 6 slums for years.

Crime was almost fun to Edea, and she got really good at smuggling illegal goods into and out of Midgar. Eventually she began working for Don Corneo, though not necessarily by choice. It wasn't long after becoming one of Corneo's peons that Edea found herself being exploited for less and less pay, and little other choice but to just continue working. Crime having become just another method of the rich dominating the poor in her eyes, she upped her game and threw her hat in with the eco-terrorist organization, AVALANCHE.

Her plan was to hit Shinra, the source of all of her life's sufferring, where it hurt, and to hopefully liberate the people of Midgar from the company's tyranny. Things didn't go to plan on their mission, and now she's struggling to wrap her head around her new, strange surroundings.

- Favorite color? Pink. She dyed her hair this color, but her natural hair color is a light brown, actually!
- Her favorite genre of music is punk, of course.
- She's a heavy drinker, her favorite drink being vodka.
- Her favorite food is ramen. She also likes to snack on apples!
