Vale was born into a family of pukkints who weren't tethered, and wished to never be. They shown distain for the concept, and told Vale that they would respect her if she choose otherwise. Vale knew that probably wouldn't be true. She always wanted to be rebel, break away from her family.
Vale was walking down the muddy paths, as it was raining. Vale knew today was the day, she turned 5 today and the fountain of Vinessa was just a block around the corner. She slipped away from her family and had been walking to the fountain. She came to a stop in front of the fountain.
Vale sighed, got out a small bucket she had gotten from Velvet, she scooped up some goop and waited for a vinling to form. About 40-50 seconds after a small vinling formed. Vale was estactic, she quickly tried her best to impress the vinling. The vinling, who was later revealed to be named Aqua found this endearing, so thats when they tethered.
Vale had been outside, resting around in the sunlit opening of the forest in her backyard. She saw a red pukkint with strangly round ears perching on a rock, on the other side of the forest. Vale rushed over to them, and Vale smiled and the pukkint smiled back. They told eachother their names and they became friends.
Vale and Velvet were just vibing in the forest, when they ventured too far in. It got dark and creepy. Vale and Velvet tried to escape but they couldn't find out how. Thats when Spiral came tumbling towards them, Spiral told them to follow them and without a word they were out of the forest in a few minutes. Velvet and Vale exchanged names with Spiral and they asked to hang out with them tomorrow, Spiral happily agreed.
