Mädchen

A pardine genet dedicated to earth magic. By communing with nature she can do a range of spells, from divination to enchantments, or even shapeshifting and summons. However, usually she reserves the practice until she is called upon to protect others or serve some higher purpose. She is from a wildlife reserve in Ghana, although she has become well-traveled in her time with the help of human ships; she picked up her name in Germany and now resides in Brazil. She is high-strung and fraught with anxiety but does her best to work with others despite it.

Some say she is overly protective of younger creatures, but she insists it is merely a calling to offer new generations her ancient wisdom. Either way, she ends up stuck in an 'elder sister/mentor' role "un"-willingly from time to time. She subsists off of coffee and loves to perch in trees that hang over local human cafes in her spare time just to hear the music, where she has become especially fond of latin jazz. Sometimes she falls asleep for so long that she wakes up to birds trying to nest in her fur. She looks older than she actually is, to the dismay of many of her students.
