Snide is one of many snake people who have robotic limbs that allow them to live more fulfilling lives. He comes from the Tree House Village known as Kirisame Village in the northwest, where his family and neighbors of similar origin reside.
Shortly after receiving his augmented limbs upon reaching adulthood, Snide set out to discover the secrets behind the Void Storms that are currently destroying the planet and also search for his childhood friend. He would quickly become acquainted with Skipper and Stanley, who are also setting out with similar goals. Snide develops a bond with them over many nights of sitting around the campfire with them.
