Hyun's life is a simple one, but far from normal. He's a Jeoseung Saja, a Korean grim reaper tasked with guiding those who have passed to the afterlife. He didn't kill or judge souls, his duty was simply to guide. Hyun could not be bribed or reasoned with at the time of a death, relentless in his pursuit of whoever was next on his list. Hyun didn't feel anything during that time of his life. He was simply numb.
Hyun's not sure what exactly happened to him that day, but the reaper suddenly found himself in the present day. People who hadn't died/close to death yet could see him, and the craziest thing of all was...he could feel emotions! But Hyun wasn't used to these human emotions, he didn't know how to handle them!
When he was happy, he'd cry tears of happiness. When he was angry, he'd cry tears of rage. When he was sad, he'd just cry. H...He cried a lot actually.
Hyun spent the next few years of his life in the mortal plane learning about...well everything! What the heck was a Youtube? TikTok?? Technology was quite the adventure to figure out. But when he did figure it out, he discovered Korean rap music. Hyun fell in love with the aggressive style of rap and wished to learn himself. And so he did.
The rapper eventually found himself drawn to the country of Amarisia later on. Hyun was pretty content with just living here, rapping on the streets and enjoying human life. His rapping talent was recognized by an idol agency and they quickly got him to sign up as an idol.
It was there where he met his fellow idol groupmates and quickly realized that this was an idol group of...mythical beings. How'd he end up here?!
