Deni is a sister cell to Oleander who she has connected to the most. Over time, they began growing apart, but never fully broke ties.

She believes firmly in the ways of the heart and while she disapproves of Oleanders odd obsession with knowledge, she also understands why she has it.

Deni is a high priest of the Cult of Heart, an honor not often given to Pacemaker Cells, but due to her surviving a condition that many cells believed to be deadly, she earned her place and is looked up to by many.
She is sharp, often snappy and knows how to defend herself, being known as very stern with others and oddly enough, not someone to share her feelings often.

In a way, she doesn't want to admit that she shares a lot in common with her sister.

Trivia about her Species:
-Pacemaker Cells in real life control the hearts contractions!
-Pacemaker Cells in Starborn have the ability to give off very, very soft electric shocks. These are usually used to give Cardiomyocytes a bit of a boost in energy. These two types of Cells work hand in hand.
-Both Pacemaker Cells and Cardiomyocytes belong to Cell groups that come in a large variety of looks. However, Pacemaker Cells are always rather noodly, while Cardiomyocytes are a bit buffer.
-Pacemaker Cells still are classified as "lesser" among her kin when compared to Cardiomyocytes, despite this.
-They have an uncanny hand for rythm and song, often leading religious roles for singing and chanting.
