Originally from Nightclan; Mantissneer was a respected young warrior who was keen on following every rule there was to clan life. She had always vowed to uphold the warrior code with respect and dignity but things changed when she came across a handsome loner. At first she was skeptical and standoffish towards the Tom but he was able to charm her with his kind nature and admittedly his looks. For once in her life Mantissneer found herself quite infatuated with another cat and began to sneak out of camp to meet with him in secret. The two grew very close as the seasons passed, Mantissneer fell harder and harder with each passing day till eventually she discovered she was pregnant. Shocked, scared and feeling guilty for what she had done..she panicked, running to her lover and explaining how she would get into so much trouble if her leader found out she had a kit with a cat outside of Nightclan let alone a rogue. She finally came to the conclusion that their best option was to get her mate to join Nightclan. Unfortunately her lover declined, finally telling her the truth. He wasn’t only romantically involved with Mantissneer but another she-cat from Breezeclan. This information enraged Mantissneer and she called him every insult in the book. She told him to leave and to never show his face again. 

Mantissneer came clean to Starscreech about her situation and to her surprise he was merciful towards her. He allowed her to stay but she and her unborn kit would be shunned by the other cats in return. For a while she was okay with this until her son Creekkit was born and he..looked almost identical to his father; the cat she told to never show his face again. Mantissneer immediately hated her son. She began to blame him for the situation she was in. Mantissneer was verbally abusive towards Creekkit. She did not allow him near her unless it was to nurse and once he was eating solid food she stayed far away from him. She would often tell him that everything was his fault and he was the reason she was suffering. Finally it became too much for the she-cat and she decided to leave Nightclan forever. Leaving her son behind. Eventually she was allowed to join Rainclan in hopes of starting a new life. Creekpaw hasn’t seen her since.
