Born and raised in Octo Canyon, Orca was brainwashed and recruited to fight for the octolings early on. The concept of Free will was never on his mind, simply get jobs done and get out. Orca has a relatively high success rate on the battle field having a take no prisoners mindset. Back on the field all that mattered was ensuring that Orca and their partner finished every mission alive.
After one particularly rough turf battle Orca was reassigned to expand turf in the outer splatlands. They wouldn't be present for the first playing of Calamari Inkatation and thus continued to dispose of any inklings that came across their path. However they met their match against a particullary weird roller
Kona would be the one to force Calamari Inkantation into Orca freeing them from the brainwashing. It took a bit but with some work the pair managed to communicate. Kona would give Orca his nickname and bring him home to Splatsville
Orca's life revolves around Kona. If Kona says to do something they do it without hesitation. They don't really get jokes and still take most things as direct orders. They are still working on that concept of free will.
Orca works part time on Kona's family's food truck and does Salmon Runs on occasion first. However doing Salmon Runs makes them a bit uneasy as stealing eggs feels a little wrong. Orca adores the Squid sisters and almost always has their music playing in their headphones during turf wars.
Orca recently joined Kona's team, The Queers, for turf battles. They get along relatively well with the others but still allows Kona to do all the talking for them.
