The first Appmon to learn of the dangers of Leviathan's return, but nobody believed it. It went to find a buddy to help it find the rumored Gatchmon who had stopped Leviathan last time. It looks up to Gatchmon a lot but doesn't exactly quite know what it looks like. On it's adventure, its bond with its buddy increases as they search to find Gatchmon. Unable to find Gatchmon, Downmon feels as if him and the rest of the Appmon have to stop Leviathan themselves.
