Backstory

Vilém is a Dark Nyanarr, born as the sixth and the youngest to a well-regarded family and raised in such a manner fit for someone with a ‘title.’ Along with many basic studies as a child, he was properly taught various types of manners, archery, piano, ‘alchemy’, and of course how to control his magic. Magic was very important to his family, and it was important that he learned to control it and be well-versed in it.

As a child, he for the most part didn’t like doing all of his different studies, but he excelled regardless. During his downtime, he would often spend his time outside or exploring, and since he was the youngest of so many siblings, he would often disappear without anyone noticing for a while. It was while he was out that he once met a light nyanarr and had somewhat watched from afar. She was only 1 or 2 years older than him but he wasn’t really sure who she was or what was going to happen if she saw him or if he was even caught around her, but his childish curiosity had quickly taken over and he watched her before she had eventually caught him and offered for him to play with them. He was hesitant but eventually went out to play with her. It quickly became something that they just did.

Once he got a little bit older, around pre teen and young teen years, his family had allowed him more studies more accustomed to what he was interested in, which was art and photography. Of course, they were not aware where he had gotten the inspiration to begin, which was the light nyanarr he had met. This gave him more inspiration for his studies and he began to look forward to his studies, even if it was just to get to the “good stuff” as he considered it. He was around 15 when he felt comfortable enough with his photography that he showed his friend, the light nyanarr, who wholeheartedly supported him and further encouraged him to continue with his photography and art. He continued with his studies until his late teenage years.

He stayed at his family estate for another year before packing up and deciding that he wanted to explore and travel to get different sights to photograph. He began to sell his photography and quickly made a name for himself. This only encouraged him more and more and he continues to travel and doesn’t really stay in one place for longer than a month, occasionally returning home to see his family, but for the most part staying out. It was at home that he had heard of his friend having gotten married to another light nyanarr and was a little disheartened, though he also knew that he had never told her how he felt nor did he actually think either of their families would be accepting of any sort of relationship, even their friendship. He saw her one last time on that trip before bidding her a true farewell and getting back to his photography.
