A moon druid who has lived in isolation with her circle for all of her life before now.

Ruscha’s forest fell dark, the animals eerily quiet, and the spirits all seemingly packed up for some other place. She left the forest alone, and traveled overseas to investigate the state of other magical woodlands. The deities there refused to speak, and the other druid circles weren't much help. She returned home confused and full of anger, as the druids she had convened with were passive in the face of danger, praying to appeal to Nature to save them. Nature was either indifferent to this evil, or unable to defend itself from it. So she set out alone.

The Circle of the Moon is a reclusive sect of druids that refuse contact with outsiders, believing the modern world to have lost their connection to the proper way of being.

They have a strong penchant for shapeshifting, and it's said that if you're walking in their lands and feel an animal's eyes boring into your back, it is wise to announce your intentions and leave in a timely fashion. The circle is reluctantly hospitable to wounded travelers, but keep many secrets. Ruscha loves her druidic family dearly, but is angered by their unwillingness to act.

Her druidic focus is a gnarled birch wood pipe, made from a great tree that was felled by a lightning strike. She's often seen smoking, and is happy to share with friends and foes alike.
