02 — Personality
Contrary to popular belief, he's not evil and does not kill people. He's only intimidating on the outside, on the inside he's the embodiment of a soaking wet cat, poor meow meow, if you will.
Most of the time he's gloomy and sad, always feeling like a part of him is lost but never understanding why. Because of spending so much time with the Dead, he has a hard time socializing with people in a way that will not make him come across as off-putting or creepy. He tends to say things that seem normal to him, but to others they feel like threats. For example, he often has dreams where he can see what misfortunes will happen to others but he words it like "You will get hit by a car today" and doesn't elaborate. The person is then clearly freaked out and tries to get away from him.

03 — Background
Before the incident
Christos used to be a research scientist working with a team of people. Couple of years ago, they went on a work trip to the jungle to examine some ancient ruins. While exploring, they found, what seemed to be, prehistoric jewelry. They decided to take it back home and while inspecting it, he put the ring on. It fit perfectly but he couldn't take it off, he decided he'd remove the ring when they'd land back home.Â
Upon returning, he still couldn't take the ring off of his hand but that was the least of his concerns. In the following week, everyone who went on that trip, except him, died of an unknown illness. It is still debated on conspiracy forums, what happened to those people.
NEW LIFE
To the outside world, Christos, is missing and/or dead. Right around the deaths of his colleagues, is when the ring took over his mind and body. His memories, relationships, job, everything was wiped and he had become the Essence of Death. He now goes around, traveling through shadows and collecting the souls of people who have wronged the Realm of the Dead.
04 — Trivia
- Born in Patras, Greece.
- Has a somewhat monotone voice + he sighs a lot.
- Bad things happen around him cuz he's a walking omen of bad luck - mirrors shatter, birds die, plants rot, lights flicker etc.
- Even though there is no such this as a "Grim Reaper" in this world, most people who meet him assume that's his title.
- The ring has granted him very special abilities such as being able to see spirits and summon them at will.
- He can also walk through shadows and crows follow him around.
- His main duty is to send peoples souls to the Realm of the Dead to be punished. Their body then crumbles and turns into sand.Â
