Smoke Clan considers themselves to be the closest to Eventide, the original members of the clan having all survived a horrific fire that burned through part of the territory. They dedicate their lives to the stars that saved and continue to save them. Their names are in the prefix-suffix style, but often have their names changed to reflect a more significant part of their lives, such as a heroic act or a grave injury.
Most of the older generation that would have been senior warriors and elders have either died from defending their territory from packs of dogs or other animals that come down from the mountains, or have been killed in fights with other clans over territory.
