His very energetic spouse.
Honestly, Waras was mostly intruiged by her straight-forwardness, over-excited nature, and odd way of acting flustered when they met - not to mention that she knew a him from another future. There is something ever so refreshing about her saturated demeanor and exagerated way of showing emotions - it contrasts to him really well. Being in her presence makes him feel like, well, it makes him feel. Or at least, makes him believe that he can. It keeps him grounded in all that makes his existance worth it and reminds him how much emotions are worth fighting for. He sees Stockholm as his own small beacon of hope, and he'd never willingly let go of her.

While he has not had his two small twins for very long, he adores them already. Being the first children he has with Stockholm, he's sure he'll cherish them regardless of how they turn out. For now, it is very refreshing having kids who aren't practically born as adults. The process of having children that start out as babies and grow up is going to be a process he is sure he'll enjoy.

Mavis is a very, very old buddy of his. Despite Mavis being a chaos agent a lot of the time and making Waras' job a lot harder by putting much more wood on the fire than there ever should be, Mavis is still a pillar he can rely on when things go to shit. It is... Almost embarrassing how many times Mavis has pulled him out of a hopeless situation and cared for him, and for that he is ever grateful. He would go to pretty far lenghts to help Mavis, should he ever need his help.

His strongest child by far. His youngest which he had with his late spouse, Eatine is the tree of strenght. Very energetic, very unapologetic, and vocally thruthful to a fault. He has many a times had to sit through a brutal lecture by her said in the most nonchalant manner possible - and yet that is one of the reasons he enjoys her presence so.

Strong-willed, capable, responsible. The middle child he had with his late spouse, Tyrell is the one who takes after zhem the most. Having become a guardian tree zhemself, zhe commited zhemself to guard over the territory that zhes parent did before zhem. Zhe's very good at it too, excelling in keeping peace not just in zhes own land, but amongst their connection to neighboring lands as well. A skill zhe certainly did not learn from Waras.

Emeli is by far the child that takes after Waras the most. The eldest child he had with his late spouse, Emeli by far has the most brilliant mind for strategy. She itches for the battlefield and even more for the most hopeless situations war can provide, and those places is where her abilities truly shines. She can turn almost any situation into her favour and operates wonderfully under stress. In many ways, Waras holds a certain respect and awe for her. Yet, she is the one he worries about the most as well since her craving for danger often gets her nearly killed.

Waras' late spouse taken from him due to war, ironically enough. The time he spent with zhem are times he still holds dear, yet they hurt to remember as well. Ayamalla was a spirited individual; while zhe may have seemed calm, kind, and caring from the outside, zhe was a very opinionated individual who did not mind to voice zhes opinion and who did not mind insulting anyone who crossed zhem. Zhe had an iron-wil, a clear goal, and a way to make most any memory worth laughing about, no matter how harsh or painful.
Ayamalla managed to be a force pulling Waras in all kinds of directions. Zhe pulled him out of a rather bleak state of life he had found himself in, creating a new spark of hope inside him. He became dependant on zhem as time went on, and as zhe was taken from him he almost broke. Was it not for the three kids he had with zhem as well as Mavis' support, then losing zhem would surely have been his doom.

While Selliva has certainly been there to help him out a lot of the time like Mavis has, it has always been purely to help Mavis, not him, and she has made that clear. In fact, she has been against helping him many times and voiced this opinion while helping him. So while she does help him, he doesn't count himself indepted to her. She is helping Mavis not him, after all.
