externally, daithi holds himself to an unbelievably high standard; failure being something that he must avoid as often as he can. most work comes before friendships; so he isn't a stranger to losing people due to his inability to give himself a break. he lacks compassion and empathy towards himself, deeming that how hard he works himself is necessary for the growth through his flaws. though, it certainly doesn't help that this is a primary flaw that they refuse to overcome.

while it may not seem so- friendships, to a point, are something that he holds dear to him. they don't have many friends due to their inability to focus on anything other than school and work, but when it comes to those who managed to push past the lack of sociability, daithi cherishes them to no end.

they're disappointingly, sillily overrun by their introversion- making it hard for them to indulge in any form of social activity without becoming overwhelmed and irritable -daithi craves deep emotional connections. he has a hard time talking and maintaining conversation, due to his introversion. they strive for comfortable relationships, ones where they dont have to be so stiff- though, at this rate, they believe that the likelihood of finding something like that is incredibly low.

regardless of his lack of sociability and ability to connect with people, daithi is gentle at heart. they do come off as stiff, closed off and incredibly resisitant to conversation, but it's mostly a defense mechanism. their comfort means little to them, but they can very easily become somewhat childish when they warm up to someone. though, this behavior is incredibly skittish; and relie's heavily on the other's behavior, as well.
