Rika Chigusa

Rika was raised alone by her mother along with her older brother. They were well off thanks to her mother working hard to provide for her and her brother. Her brother was always so smart, while she struggled through school. Regardless, their family didn't care and just loved her. She was always very clumsy, which affected her in high school when she accidentally broke some music instruments when looking at them. In order to pay them off and not involve her mom, she volunteered to do chores for the music department and as she worked for them, she developed a love for music. She tried to play different instruments, violin, flute, etc, but she was so clumsy that it just didn't work or she would break it. One older student, Kenichi Harada, told her that maybe a good instrument to try would be the drums since she had a clumsy and "crazy" nature. After trying it out, it was like she was meant for them. She quickly got amazing at the drums and fell so in love with music that she wanted to pursue a career in it.

Rika now started college for a music career. After joining the music department, she was reunited with the older student Kenichi in the same college. After finding out that he was in a band and that she was still playing the drums, Ken asked if she wanted join their band. She was overzealous and quickly agreed. She met everyone and quickly became one of them.
