Gaius' familiar and lead tactician and advisor. Trusted deeply by both him and Augustia, Caligula operates in the shadows for the sake of the August Empire, the August Magicians, and the people of August with a quiet, passionate loyalty. Only wishing for peace and prosperity to come to August, he works tirelessly, not desiring credit for his efforts.

He becomes Marie's teacher when she arrives in August. He has a short temper and is quick to critique those who he has high expectations from, especially Gaius and Marie. Caligula is much more polite and kinder to women, children, and the common people, who just see him as a mild, intelligent man.

He wears a mask to hide his facial injury, not out of shame, but rather to not alarm others. However, he tends to never show others his actual face, and especially not speak when his mask is off. As Caligula is mising most of his lips, the mask also helps him pronounce words that need lips to be properly spoken. This stubbornness is mostly out of pride.

The injury was originally sustained by Gaius, but Caligula chose to inherit the damage to symbolize his resolve in serving August.
