Mudmask is a serious and cold she-cat, putting the status and appearance of her clan above all else. She strives for perfection from her clanmates, and will chastise any cat not pulling their weight. She always acts with elegance, but comes across as haughty at times. She hates the other clans with a passion, to the point her morals are slightly skewed to ignore a cat in need if they were not a loyal AquaClan cat, and she obsesses over battle and revenge.

As a young warrior, her parents (Shadowwhisker, Duckspots) and mentor (Darkstone) were all killed in the same crocodile attack, which lead to her stoic attitude and striving for perfection. Her dedication to producing results made her a prime candidate for the deputy role, which she was offered at the first availability.
