Mousu is a little creature that helps Sumia and Cecil about in their lab/library. He doesn't speak so he communicates with different squeeks and chirps but he does know a few hand signals aswell to help him get across what he's trying to say. He likes helping Sumia and Cecil but he does get a bit clumsy and sometimes knocks things over. If he does knock something over he burst's into tears and crys because he thinks he's in serious trouble but all Sumia and Cecil do is pick him up and tell him everything will be ok while giving him a cup of herbal tea to help calm him down. During the cold nights he often curls up to Sumia because he's like a supernova and is constantly warm.
