You wander through the darkness, turned around and unsure of where you are going. No matter where you turn, there are shadows surrounding you, dark enough that it's near impossible to see anything before you.
As you turn again, trying to find your way, there's a dim glow in the distance and you blink. Suddenly, there's a tower in the distance, a tall, black stone spire, a light rotating near the zenith.
Keeping the tower in your sights, you begin to make your way towards the only thing you've seen in what you assume to be miles. It takes hours it feels, to drag your way up the stone steps, hand hovering over the old, oaken door.
"Ah, hello there. Are you lost? I don't venture out much, but if you need a place to rest, I just started a pot of tea, and I have an extra room," they tilt their head at you and seem to remember something. "I apologize, I seem to have forgotten, you may call me Lightkeeper Archeon."
As long as Archeon can remember, they've lived in the lighthouse on the coast. The keeper of the lighthouse was an elderly wizard who experimented with magic and was well-learned and well-known, and Archeon was their loyal familiar.
One fateful night, mage hunters came, searching for the wizard in hopes to kill him, though Archeon never quite discovered why.
What little they remember of the night was the wizard gently holding them, whispering to them as flames roared around them. They remember a flash of light, blinding, bright and the sudden feeling of knowing.
They were given a name Archeon, a name freely given by their wizard, and taken by the fey-aligned moth, who used that and their newfound power to become who they are today.
After much wandering in the darkness, they came upon a half-built temple, and met a fairy named Caesyum, who told them all about their deity, Alba. Archeon, still new to the world, joined their cause and has since decided to rebuild their lighthouse as best they can.
- Canonically, Archeon cannot fly. Whether they lost the ability, or never truly had it is unknown, but Caesyum is slowly teaching them the skill.
- Archeon used to live elsewhere, but after their previous lighthouse was destroyed, they finally took up their friend's insistence to move to the Nether Roof and rebuild there.
- They are a former wizard's familiar (Fey aligned), to an elderly man named Archeon.
- Archeon posesses quite a bit of magic, mostly shape changing: they can be whichever size they'd like, and can morph their form from normal moth, to more of a fantasy/anthro/moth man look.
- The mask is removable, but Archeon never removes it.

"Cae is a friend I've had for quite some time. They are excitable, which isn't exactly what I prefer, but they are ernest, and are willing to help me relocate to the Nether Roof, which I appreciate greatly."
"Caesyum tells me they've spoken with Alba, I wouldn't put it past them, but I haven't had the honor of hearing their voice as of yet. That being said, I am loyal to them and am willing to do what I can to further their cause."
