Once a soldier in the Octarian army, they were selected for early sanitization testing after they were severely injured in a situation where they had no access to respawn tech. Because of their attempted sanitization, they don't have most of their memory from before or immediately after being sanitized, but as they retained their free will and weren't in well enough physical shape to be used or even "recycled" by the Octarian army, they were discarded and were eventually able to escape. After making their way to the surface, they moved to Splatsville for a Fresh start. While they don't remember much of their past, they do carry strong negative emotions tied to it. They love surface culture and the simple things in life.

Now living in Splatsville, they work as a courier for iShipIt, escorting particularly dangerous deliveries across the Splatlands with the rest of their team. Most of the time, their friends (including their shrimp friends) do the talking while they act as the driver and the muscle, which, with their inability to feel some pain and surprising physical strength, suits them just fine, though they have a general distaste for unneeded violence. Between deliveries, they room with several of their teammates and are content in maintaining their state of life, though they're very supportive of their more ambitious teammates. When business is slow, they pick up a lot of odd jobs around the city and have a lot of experience doing many different things, and it's not uncommon to see them in unlikely places on a side gig.
