Bio:
Sky Fire is a pegasus who was obsessed with fire. He had heard of phoenixes, which helped him get into the subject. One day he saw a fire spell scroll that could let him harness fire. The spell called for a phoenix feather, so he went on a journey to secure a feather. After traveling such a long way, he got his feather and used it to make a rather hot potion. The potion gave him fire powers, and allowed him to project fire from his hoofs and mouth, and turned his wings to fiery wings. In learning to master his new powers, he got his cutie mark.
After a year or so, Sky Fire met Vanguard, an alicorn who offered for him to use his power to help protect Equestria. He agreed to join her.
