- named miko because his parents wanted him to grow up to be a beautiful priestess in izumo. little did they know they misread their fortune and were actually having a boy. and he was also going to be the opposite.

personality
most people look at Miko and see a brooding man they immediately want to put in the effort to change for the better. little do they know, there's nothing to fix beyond awful sleeping habits. Miko is up all night studying his divinations and talking to his ever-shifting travel companions, so he barely gets a wink of sleep and is stuck with near-permanently tired eyes. despite that issue, he's personable and easy to get along with. his connection to izumo makes him difficult to anger and easily annoyed by fighting, but he's not quite as peace-seeking as most of his countrymen. his sleepy nature contrasts his constant desire for the next exciting thing to do. he wants to see all of the beautiful and unique things in the world, which contributes to his traveling life style. Miko is naturally friendly and social, so he makes a lot of friends in his travels.
