Shirley Blue Pearl

The beautiful and graceful pearl to a defective sapphire, Tall Frosted Sapphire. She was a gift from White Diamond to her sapphire and she couldn’t be happier to serve such a gem. Shirley’s main duty is note keeping and drawing. Since her Sapphire makes predictions and then makes them in intricate ice sculptures, it is Shirley’s job to draw those sculptures before they melted away and for documentation purposes. She knows the challenges her Sapphire went through to cement her position, so Shirley is careful not to bring up court or the word defective. Leaving all that talk to her Sapphire's Zircon, Royal Judge Zircon. Speaking of Zircon, the two are actually rather close. Often sharing secrets that they’d rather not have their Sapphire knows. She takes great care to keep these secrets close to her chest to make sure they don’t leak out, for her and Zircon’s safety. Overall, she’s generally a very kind and social pearl. During events her Sapphire might be at that she is accompanying her to, Shirley can often be seen chatting up a storm with other pearls on the sidelines. From other pearls to other escorts, Shirley makes sure to have a wide network of gems that serve elites at her fingertips in case she ever needs to call upon them. Having gems in her pocket that she can call on, either for herself, Zircon or her Sapphire has been helpful in a number of cases.
