8771893_XshiBDXE6e2gPtG.pngBody- Goose possesses fairly long, sleek body with a slightly arched back. His legs are sturdy but sleek. He has a pretty long/flexible neck as well. His tail is also very long and flexible.

Head/Mouth- Goose's head/face is fairly sleek, though almost rectangular in structure (with a slight angle towards the snout). The landscape of his face is not flat, as the area around his eyes come out slightly, and his snout is shaped somewhat similarly to a cougar's (though longer and sleeker, and the nose is very different). His ears are long and pointed, and are capable of swiveling, however he usually keeps them back and slightly upright. He also has very small horns resting just above his eyes. His eyes are very soft and pale with a small slitted pupil. His mouth is long, extending a little past his eye and the inside is a greyish pink. His tongue is pretty long, and is prehensile. It also has small "teeth" lining the sides towards the base of tongue. Goose's normal teeth are small and conical, though his canines are longer and more fang-like.

Wings-
Goose has a pretty large wingspan, with the individual wings being quite long. The wings are very thin however, for quick and precise flight. They are made up of soft plumage, allowing him to fly with little to no noise. When not in use for flying, they are folded up and kept close to his body, with the ends extending past the body and coming together in a tent-like fashion.
 Artist Notes
Goose has two forms, his "natural" form which is mostly white with browns and tans, and his "pure" form in which his entire body is pristine white with the exception of the black markings he has on his face, ears, and feet. Additionally his eyes turn from green to blue. ~Note, the only real difference with these forms is color. The "pure" form just refers to the fact that he is pure white. See more about the two forms in the Detailed Information section.

Home Description
Ephrium, or Goose as he prefers to be called, is a mysterious creature and is the only one of his kind. His home is in a forested plateau-like area called misthaven, which is nestled near the top of a cluster of mountains and towering rocky cliffs. This area is accessible only by flight, and the land around it is constantly under a thick veil of fog, which hides it from prying eyes. The mountains are tall and jagged, and are covered in snow all year round. Misthaven itself is mostly free of snow, however it is cold there and there is often fog or mist, hence it's name.

Forms/Rebirth

An interesting aspect about Goose is that, similar to a phoenix, he is reborn whenever he is killed (which is very difficult to do btw). Whenever he has died, after a little while his body dissolves into a pile of snow, and comes back as a baby in the heart of Misthaven. When he is first reborn, he is fully functioning and roughly the size of a cat. After about a week or so he is able to fly again, albeit much more clumsily/noisily than when he is grown. His appearance is also different during the first year or so that it takes for him to grow back to a full adult. His feathers are an off-white color instead of pure white and he has brown markings on his head/neck, back, and wings. Additionally his eyes are green and his feathers tend to stick up more, such as tufts that appear on the back of his head. This form is usually refereed to as his "natural form", or "early form". When he is fully grown, he regains his usual form, or "pure" form (referring to his pure white feathers). In it he appears pure white expect for the black markings on his feet and head, has blue eyes with orange tear-ducts, and his feathers are very sleek. He also has what some people consider to be a third form, and what the Misthaven natives believe to be his true form. Whenever his feathers are touched by flame, they gain a slight golden sheen, and the very tips appears to have been dipped in pure gold. This effect only lasts a few minutes once the fire is gone however, and is rarely seen.

Behavior
No matter what form he is in, Goose appears to be able to understand any language spoken to him, though he does not always comprehend things like sarcasm, as his understanding is based more the meaning of the words that are said. Goose himself is unable to speak, and is quiet for the most part, though he is capable of making a variety of sounds. While Goose is solitary by nature, as he is the only one of his kind, he does enjoy the company of the individuals he has gained trust with. He will often sit and watch people hunt or work, and while he is not afraid of them, he rarely gets very close to them. The tribesmen of misthaven believe Goose to be a sacred wind spirit, and often set out a portion of their food in tribute to him. He will also gather his own food on occasion, however he does not require food to survive. Goose becomes sad if he sees another creature suffering and almost always tries to help it, no matter what it is.  He has a keen sense of others' emotions, and is rather adept at sensing other people's intentions.

Movement
The way that Goose moves is very similar to a cat. He is incredibly graceful both in flight and on land, and is capably of leaping great distances. When flying, the soft plumage on his wings renders him almost completely silent. He is very agile, and is capable of running far quicker than one might expect. Additionally, he is able to swim, as his feathers are somewhat waterproof. He has fairly good eyesight, excellent hearing, and his sense of smell is impeccable.
