Awati grew up on the streets. During their youth they jumped from forster to foster and never had a place to really call home. They ran away a lot and hung out with the wrong crowd and such was labeled as a problem child. They spend the last years of their teenage years at a group home. After dropping out of the system, they carved out a small territory in their area and started a gang. Made up of runaways or other kids that dropped out of the foster system, they protect the streets from evil doers and generally keep anyone they preceive as bad out of their turf

• Awati's mother was a drug addict and from a young age Awati knew that they were bad for you
• Thier gang is called 'The outsiders'. Awati loved the book growing up
• Most of the group members volunteer at shelters and are made up of a tight knit friend group
• They members wear animal masks to hide their idetities.
