Story So Far

College film majour. After an incident during a film project he was working on in the woods with his friend Teddy, he was reported missing and never seen again.

In actuality, he had fallen victim to an entity known as The Operator, who had implanted an alter-ego inside of him to perform duties using his body; Teddy also suffered the same fate. They work together as a pair, with tasks often consisting of killing those The Operator sends them to without question.

For a long time, Brandon lay dormant as his alter, known by the name "Hoodjack", held control of his body.

Several years after the initial incident, Brandon began fronting and recording videos in secret, on an old camcorder - the same one he had been using for his project. He edited these videos to include secret codes in an ARG-like format, uploading them to a YouTube channel by the name "One-Of-Many." Hoodjack held no memory of these, just as Brandon had no memory of the things Hoodjack would do, but their relationship in that regard would change swiftly.

Brandon began fronting more consistently, often hiding this fact from Teddy's alter, Faux Face, or FF, fearing that the other would attempt to kill him, especially for trying to leak word to the public about the situation. Around the time Brandon finally made outside contact - going by the alias "Red" - Faux found out about his videos. He was furious, as it was dangerous for both Brandon and Teddy that this information be leaked, but in time, agreed to assist Brandon with his escape, meaning that the only one left in the dark was Hoodjack.

It stayed this way for a while, until by unfortunate matter Hoodjack found one of Brandon's videos on his - their - computer. He was furious, threatening to FF that he would head straight to the Operator - as the Operator would likely be able to do something about the situation, and ought to know that his face is on the internet. However, FF talked him down, noting that the Operator would likely kill him for failing as a proxy. This was enough to shut him up, with Hoodjack's prominent fear of death shaking him out of his certainty...

Personality(ies)

Brandon is rather kind, and a little goofy. He enjoys playing games, namely Guitar Hero, and though shaken with the crimes he has been forced to commit, he knows that it was for survival that he had done them, and has come to peace with it. His main concern is freeing Teddy and himself, with Teddy being a larger priority. They have siblings waiting for them. They have to come home.

Hoodjack, on the other hand, is cruel. He treats FF like a slave, and on an incident in which he caught Teddy fronting, tormented and attacked him for his amusement. He's lazy, and often drinks when he's not working. He takes great joy in killing others, and likely cares more about his beat-up old pickup truck than he does any actual people. Has a crippling fear of dying, and hates Brandon.
