Verdissa Belore Drakhan

Verdissa is the firstborn of King (later known as Master) Jake Drakhan and his wife, Shari'adune Belore. As such, she is the heir to the throne of a unified Underworld. What Master Jake does not know, is that Verdissa is illegitimate, born of an affair between Shari and a lover. The truth is revealed to Verdissa and her younger sister after the war/battle against Master's tyranny, and she promptly offers to step down. Cheryl Belore Drakhan insists Verdissa steps up to the throne as Queen, saying that she feels no remorse that a 'bastard' should rule in her place, as it in a sense removes Master further from the throne than even death/imprisonment would. That aside, Verdissa is a beloved public figure who has been groomed to reign after her 'father', and Cheryl prefers to support from the sidelines.

She suffers from PTSD as well as depression with some suicidal tendencies/attempts. Her boyfriend found her at two separate occasions, once trying to overdose, another having attempted to slit her wrists. Both times she was brought back. After the defeat of Master, she never tried to end her life again. Argai keeps a close eye on her and often takes her out sailing when he feels like she is overwhelmed by the world around her.
