~scrapped profiles (Athena)

makes much more sense (at least i hope) w/ the written lore i have so far since some terms/ worldbuilding are explained there

why yes i do have her entire story written but no design set in stone yet

general info:

19y and before

grew up training to become a knight in a kingdom now long forgotten
however, ______ she never becam a knight and ended up being a common hunter/ merc
became more hot headed/ cynical after that
the events of the Devoured Sun occured when she was returning to her city
of course, darkness overtook and Morcai formed (was just called "monsters"/ "it"/ "them")
she couldn't find anyone she recognized and/ or anyone alive
she ran from the collapsing kingdom
weeks after w/ the snow an cold suffocating the world, she despaired and nearly succumbed from the apocalypse
a shooting star flew across above her, bright light finally being seen for once, and landed off at a distance from her
clinging onto hope and life, she trekked across the colf to investigate the shooting star
finally reaching the star, she finds a Celestial near death
it peers at her and pseaks to her but in a language that cannot be understood
as it dies, she sees the amount of life stream emitting from the body, giving almost a bright barrier of warmth and gentleness around it
she ends up taking refuge at the body, finally finding safety from the dark, cold, and monsters
others find her and she becomes relieved to see survivors
as they all recuperate and use the Celestial's body as supplies (this is much later) everyone agrees to have her as the "leader"
essentially has the same idea of the first kings/ queens, a god (the celestial) "blessing" her

26y general setting

essentially, Athena and [group of people she trusts/ second people finding the Celestial] create the idea/ "organization" of Star Seekers and Celestial Watchers
continuous missions of going out of the barrier to find supplis/ protect the perimeter
one or two of the close friends discuss how they want to stay back to study the Celestial, figuring out what supplies can be used for what and watching the sky for any new Celestials
another close friend becomes a researcher for the monsters nearby (whole story will be explained when i write them lol)
it's just Athena leading people into a new hope after the world nearly died

45+y just long after

as they got older, [group of friends] became worried for her participating in the Seeker's missions
wanted to make sure that the people in the Celestial's barrier still had their leader
stubbornly still went along
eventually a powerful Morcas finds them and attacks the group
Athena's (dominant) arm basically gets eaten by the monster
and since whatever Morcai touches it dies, almost her entire right side "decays"
no longer goes out for supply hunting afterwards (the whole "your people needs you" thing)
her previous knight training had her get comfortable w/ her left arm, but of course it's hard to adjust into your non dominant hand
she's still a seeker and a capable fighter, but it's mostly just to protect the barrier from any breaches
eventually establishes a "school" training people to become a seeker/ watcher
she still kicks ass in said school
eventually passes away from old age
when in Revitia and being found by Vitautalis her "ticket" for the boatman is her crown
her entire story goes from being a cynical merc to a proud leader
