Wenyan is known for being generous and nurturing. They are kind-hearted and willing to help those who need it, though their generousity may come back to bite them in the end. Though they are introverted, they love to talk to people and learn about them. Wenyan is not one to conform to the norms of society, and often is seen as having their head in the clouds. Unfortunately, they are a people-pleaser and tend to not value their own abilities.

Having lost their mother at a very early age, and never knowing their father, Wenyan was a solitary dragon from the very beginning. It wasn't until they came across a silver dragon named Huifen that they began to learn what the world had in store.
Wenyan took claim over the old capital of Guanmu. There, they watched over the people and protected them when it was needed. Wenyan never asked for anything in return, but in time, the people started gifted them things like they were any other Suramayan in the city.
After the War of Dragons, they gained the title of "Wenyan the Protector." They also gained a lover, Adiel the Brooding. Though the gold and red did not see eye to eye in the beginning, their love was so well-known that legends were written about them.
- Wenyan was born before there were officially named cities in Suramay. Currently, they reside in Guanmu.
- Though they don't use their powers often, Wenyan is in tune with the element of wind.
- Wenyan can speak Common and Draconic, as well as Suramayan.
They have been together since ancient times, and it seems as if nothing could possibly interrupt their love.
Huifen raised the gold dragon like they were her own child, and made sure they would live a long and prosperous life.
