When Ember was a young apprentice he got involved with the Dark Forest. A cat Dark Forest cat disguised as a Starclan cat named RedWood filled Ember’s mind with lies, lies he believed and acted upon.

He’d been training for moons in the Dark Forest to do his goal, get rid of the leaders of all four clans. As the leaders and the clans rules were unfair. Ember succeeded at killing most of the leaders except for the Riverclan leader, Stonestar. Ember underestimated the large cat and they both suffered heavy damage. Stonestar lived while a few days later after the battle Ember had passed away.

Shortly after Ember passed he woke up in Starclan for a trail of his innocence, he lost of course. So he was sent to the Dark Forest, to live his days down there. Years past and he slowly found out there was a way to get out of the Dark Forest and get into the living world. Ember went to the cats who he knew would stop him, the Dark Forest 'leaders', they refused and locked him away in a pocket watch and sent him up into the living world, with no way to escape the pocket watch.
