Nephele

A creature of myth and legend, Nephele is constantly roaming her forest home seemingly without purpose.

Her eyes are constantly drifting around her in an orbit- when like this her actual body will become transparent. The two smaller eyes fit into her head, while the larger ones slot into her chest and back- when her eyes are fitted her body becomes solid and mortal.

While she may look rather ghastly, she isn’t any sort of threat- in fact she often helps weary travellers that find themselves lost in her forest to find the exit. She’s very good at judging a persons’ moral, and if she decides the person is good of heart, she may allow them to reach out and pet her at the end of their journey- a sign of respect.
It’s a wonder how she balances on those wonky legs.

The apparent horns on her head are actually long tendrils. The pose these tendrils are in is the only indication of her mood. When up, she is cautious and curious, when pushed back she is aggravated, when curled around she is calm and content.

While normally a very passive creature who merely watches her surroundings, she can become extremely aggravated and aggressive if someone tries to bring harm to her forest. If this happens she will slot her eyes into her body in order to fight as a solid- often causing blows with her long, sharp nose and her tail.
