Personality: 
Mina has always been a bubbly and overall cheerful. Growing up, she developed a bit of a lazy sweetheart reputation.  She loves to make others smile and instill positivity in others whenever she is able.  Despite any hardships, this remains the core of Mina's personality; someone who strives to better herself and those around her, as well as following her heart.

Beginning her training at Yen Sid's Tower marked a turning point in her life, as she quickly learned how much effort it took to work with magic and learn.  She became determined and, if possible, even more spirited than she had been previously.  Mina strived to be a better person; someone who could make a difference and help others.  Mina loved everyone in Twilight Town, and the way she found to express that was through magic.

When Naminé leaves, Mina is taken off guard.  Although she tries to remain positive and optimistic about her whereabouts- she has faith in her friends and those she loves, and refuses to give up on her.  She can't deny she felt a little hurt and confused by Naminé leaving- though she tried to keep her chin up and became determined to chase after her with hopes of seeing her again- she promised after all! This makes her a bit more of a sensitive person, both in terms of experiencing hardship, and having sympathy for those who have also experienced loss. 

Through her rough times without her friends, she learned how to toughen up, and through finding them learned that toughening up didn't mean she had to abandon what made her herself. Mina is more protective of her loved ones than she used to be, but she expresses it through the same cheerful quips she did before.
 
Abilities:
Mina is a Struggle fighter. It wasn't long before she had found the Struggle Bat of her choice and made her way up the ranks. She mainly participated for entertainment, finding joy in this hobby. 
When she discovers she has magic, she summons a wand, Star Struggle. In combat, Mina almost struggles with not using her wand as a Struggle Wand on pure instinct. It takes a bit of practice to remember to not use it like a bat and to remember to use her spells! She becomes a powerful mage with a variety of spells, including those that Sora can use- Firaga, Waterga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Curaga, Aeroga, Gravity, Stop, Magnet, Reflect and Leaf Bracer. She also can use Faith Circle, a magic command allows Mina to summon a circle of light pillars that spin outwards, dealing light damage. It also restores a small amount of health. Alongside that, she can use Holy Pillar, a Magic Sleight. Mina can summon pillars of light in a circle around herself, then expel them outwards to damage enemies and restore the her health. If someone casts magic on her and if she reacts fast enough, she is able to absorb the magic to make herself stronger, although briefly.
In time, Mina has trained enough to help her training companion practice nightly. 
She also makes sure to use munny to buy items that could help, like the Star Shard, Potion, Hi-Potion, Mega Potion, Cottage, Elixir, Megalixer, AP Boost, Mega-Ether, Heartguard, Crystal Crown, Ribbon, Cosmic Arts, Fairy Circle, a variety of Shards, Stones (Droplets), Gems and Crystals, and Orichalcum.

RELATIONSHIPS
Family:
♥ Mom: A woman who cares about her daughter very much. If Mina's friends visit, her mom will often greet them and make dinner (enough for seconds!) and lots of treats.

Friends: 
♥ Romy: A close friend and classmate from Sunset Terrace. Mina often likes to try and get Romy to juggle odd items (yes, that includes seasalt ice cream).

♥ Yoka: Though Mina is Romy’s friend first, hers second, she is super fond of Yoka and often gushes about how cute Yoka is when she cheers her on in Struggle matches. Mina has helped Yoka get through the high train car rides more than once. When Mina realized that Yoka starts wanting to learn to be a fighter, to learn magic, too, she’s a bit apologetic to Romy, but encouraging otherwise. She awaits the day that Yoka shows her what she can do!

♥ Naminé: After Riku left her in the care of Axel, she and the latter parted ways, and she ran into Mina in Twilight Town. She helps give Naminé the strength to stand up and save Kairi. Unable to bear saying goodbye, Naminé leaves a note and a drawing of the two of them to thank her, and promised to meet again. Her disappearance triggers her to leave Twilight Town in search of her. Naminé's note and drawing can be found in Mina's scrapbook, which is very special to her. 

Roxas: Although they have only passed by one another in reality, they knew each other in the Virtual world of Twilight Town and got along well. Mina believed Roxas and his friends didn't steal the photos, and she was grateful to him when he returned the selfie of the two of them, as it was one of her favorites. She is the reason the "ghost train" rumor started.

Hayner, Pence & Olette: Although they don't hang out, Mina often sees the trio together in Twilight Town. She and Hayner have fought against one another in Struggle before, and she is most acquainted with Olette. 

Seifer, Rai, Fuu & Vivi: The "Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee". Although he often seems like a bully, Seifer is shown to care about the town and is nice to certain others when he sees fit. Mina and Seifer respect each other in Struggle, but butt heads when it comes to destiny. She also wishes they would get along with Hayner's group.

Setzer: A top Struggle fighter, he is a flashy and arrogant ladies' man as well and enjoys taunting his opponents. He's one of the few people that Mina has a distaste for, since she knows that he's tried to bribe others into letting him be Champion. 

♥ Kairi: Although she's heard about Kairi, the first time they officially meet is when Riku is asked to bring her to Yen Sid. Mina mentions that Kairi looks familiar to her, but she doesn't think she's met her before. Kairi gets a sudden burst of tears due to Naminé being so happy that she remembered her. Mina worries she upset Kairi, apologizing, until she tells her that the tears must be Naminé's. 

♥ Sora: Mina surprises Sora by being on the Ghost Train with the trio, and she joins him to Yen Sid's Tower. The two reunite during Dream Drop Distance, and helps train him before he leaves for Olympus. Mina always defends him when the others pick on him- while she loves to tease, she hates how he always seems to be the butt of jokes.

♥ Riku: Although she's heard about Riku from Sora and Yen Sid, they only officially meet at Yen Sid's Mysterious Tower. Mina gets excited about finally meeting the "infamous Riku". Mina likes to take advantage of his social awkwardness in a way that won't make it sour.

♥ Axel: They never spoke before, but Mina recognizes him in passing from Twilight Town when he was still a part of Organization XIII. They officially meet when he comes to Yen Sid to help.

King Mickey: They met when Mickey was searching for Sora, Donald and Goofy in Twilight Town. 

Yen Sid: A powerful sorcerer and a retired Keyblade Master, renowned for his wisdom and command over the arts of magic. Though no longer an active Keyblade Master, he still keeps a close watch on the balance between Light and Darkness. He was once Mickey Mouse's master, and taught him everything he knows of magic and the Keyblade. And now, he is teaching Mina everything he knows.

STORY

Between Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep 

While Mina doesn't take part in any events of this game, this is when she started getting into Struggle and testing out Struggle bats to figure out what felt best. 

Kingdom Hearts 

Mina doesn't take part in the events of this game. Instead, around this time is when she had heard the rumors of a train with no passengers that leads to nowhere, seen at sunset from Sunset Hill. She boards the "ghost train", feeling as though it was calling out to her, unaware that the magic inside of her was reaching out. She found it had lead her to the Mysterious Tower, where she met Yen Sid himself, and soon became his apprentice. It is here that Mina learns of other worlds, and she learns of a boy named Sora, who would be waking up soon- and if anyone aside from them were to board the train, it would surely be him, as he is the key.

Mina spends her days trying to balance finishing her last year of school, and to also improve her magical skills. And perhaps making a bit of munny on the side. 

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories/Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

During the events of 358/2 Days, Mina finishes her schooling and starts practicing magic nearly full-time! She still loves to join in on Struggle matches now and then, unable to give up her hobby. 

Kingdom Hearts II

In the data world Roxas is thrown into, Mina is one of the few who believe that Roxas didn't go stealing photos, having a love for photography herself. She is pretty down about losing her selfie of her and Roxas, though. She is the reason the "ghost train" rumor started.

Sora boards the ghost train and is lost in thought, and tells Donald and Goofy that he's sad. After they grow silent once more, that's when Mina speaks up. "You must be Sora!" He gets startled by her, having not noticed her, and Donald and Goofy laugh. Mina jokes around when Sora asks what she's doing aboard, saying she likes trains. The moment is disrupted by a boss battle happening as soon as the train leaves Twilight Town's world. They fight side by side, finishing just as they arrive at the Mysterious Tower. Mina joins the trio inside, and wish them good luck when they head out again.

The very same day, when she returns to Twilight Town and meets Naminé, and forms a close bond with the Nobody. When Naminé disappears with only a note and a drawing she did of the two of them left behind, Mina is determined to find her. She starts off by returning to Yen Sid in hope of finding a way to travel, and he decides to give Mina a Star Shard.

With this gift, Mina uses it to travel worlds in search of Naminé, and forms bonds with people she wouldn't have met otherwise. Even with this newfound ability, Mina makes sure to visit Twilight Town often, often in hopes of Naminé having returned while she was away. She participates in Struggle matches on her return trips, hoping that nobody had noticed she had been away so often.

It isn't until Mina reaches Beast's Castle that she finds a way. The Beast talks about the time Belle was taken from his world, and how he simply believed, and he was brought to where she'd be. 

When her closest friend reached out to her for some ideas, Mina was surprised. Realizing that the girl had wanted to help someone in need, she couldn't refuse to offer an idea.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

When Mina finally returns to the Mysterious Tower, she is informed by Yen Sid that King Mickey and Jiminy Cricket are in need of help. He also hints that it might greatly help her journey. Intrigued, Mina sets off to the Disney Castle immediately. 

She is too late to help with the technological side of the mess. However, she arrives in time to see the data version of Naminé, who appears in the white room of the digital Castle Oblivion, where she meets up with Data-Sora and Mickey to tell them about Terra, Aqua, and Ventus well as Sora's destiny to save them from their suffering along with Axel, Xion, Roxas, and Naminé herself. As a replicate of data existing specifically for this purpose, Naminé fades away after the message is delivered.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

Mina is present during the time that Yen Sid puts Sora and Riku through a Mark of Mastery exam in order for them to become full-fledged Keyblade Masters and counter the coming return of Master Xehanort. 

After the exam and Riku returns to the tower with Kairi, Mina introduces herself. During their first meeting and how they thought of one another as familiar, she comes to find out that Naminé is Kairi's Nobody. Although it may not be exactly what she was hoping for, Mina can't help but be ecstatic that she found her friend again. She can't help the tears that come spilling from her eyes. 

Kingdom Hearts III

Mina continues to carry out tasks Yen Sid requests of her. She is visiting Corona prior to Sora's arrival, joining him as an extra party member once she is found.

During the final battle, she opts to stay behind with Donald, Goofy, and Yen Sid to give the Guardians of Light a chance to make it to the Labyrinth. She reunites with the rest of the guardians of light prior to Sora's final battle with Xehanort.

Finally reunited with Naminé on Destiny Island, Mina can't help but smile and grab her hand. Namine is touched by this, having not realized she had been a part of Mina's heart.

Mina can be spotted in the ending where everyone plays on Destiny Island, taking photos of everyone's smiling faces and interactions, and taking selfies with each of them. These were memories that she had wanted to cherish, no matter how bittersweet it may be.
