Past
Kirwan was immediately given to his father at birth, leaving him without a mother for his whole childhood. His father, Asmodeus, was a high-standing tiefling who was constantly busy with his duties and never had time to get to know his son. This caused Kirwan to spend most of his time alone, the maids and butlers being his only company. Once old enough, Kirwan was sent to a prestigious academy for magic, where he did terribly, lacking any kind of natural power. His greatest achievement would be making a feather levitate slightly off the ground, this caused him to be heavily bullied by his peers.
Determined to improve, Kirwan spent most of his time studying in the massive ancient library. This continued until one day, he spotted a book hidden at the back of the shelves. This shelf was located at the very end of the library, with stacks of dust amounting on the bookcases. It was strange, a dark purple and green, leather-bound book with a seal engraved on it. Kirwan managed to smuggle it back home to investigate further, however, once he opened the book, everything went black. Slowly, Kirwan awoke in a dark, misty space, his surroundings seemed to extend forever, as if this was a completely new dimension until a singular great eye opened, it glowed like a lighthouse in a heavy storm, shining down on the tiefling. He'd come to find out this monster was an eldritch dragon who was sealed away thousands of years ago by a priest of a mysterious religion. This dragon was called Kyogi, a dragon whose form was morphed by years of darkness, turning him into a serpent-like, multi-legged monster who hadn't seen the world for aeons. The two made a deal, Kyogi would gain freedom whilst Kirwan would gain a portion of the dragon's power. Once the deal was made, Kirwan woke to find out the power had changed his body into a chaotic mess of a humanoid spider, demon, and snake-like monster. Initially, he was horrified at the sight, but it was worth it for the incredible power Kyogi had given him.
The students at the academy were unsure of what to make of Kirwan's new 'look', some were disgusted whilst others were fearful. Eventually, Kirwan was kicked out due to 'suspicious' circumstances and for blowing a hole in the main block building's roof. Now, the pair travel together, with Kyogi taking on the form of a small black cat with a singular eye.
Relationships
Dad 'Asmodeus Blackadder': Pretty much non-existent, Kirwan sees him as a dull person but understands his highly regarded position as an army captain. Likes to make bitter remarks regarding his dad.

Half-sister 'Moire': Kirwan is unaware that Moire is his half-sister, he enjoys making her life difficult like pulling a chair out from under her etc.
