Steve is exactly the unlucky guy who always turns out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and not just like, stuck in an elevator or doused with water from a puddle. If aliens attack earth or a portal to another dimension opens, you can be sure that Steve accidentally passed somewhere nearby. The poor guy is already recognized in hospitals when he comes with a fracture, burns or worse. It doesn't help that he works in an NewHorizon's office, which, although he hasn't realized it yet, is a magnet for various anomalies and the supernatural (because of one particular subject at the head of NewHorizons >_>).

In life, this is a calm, tho easily stressed person, awkward in social interactions and so trying to stay apart from the rest (tho others also avoiding him).. He has already come to terms with his fate to a sufficient extent
