Profile
- She has no front legs! Wyvern-shaped stance. She is capable of leaning on her powerful front wings like they're arms; though if she does this for extended periods of time it becomes painful
Telantes is a humble girl, openminded and whimsical in nature. She has embraced, without knowing, the dream that Solace spread for her children, she has found the world as wonderful with open arms. She struggled with her heartaches, before conquering them, and becoming a positive and evolving individual. Those who knew her, expressed her transformation as a flower blooming, a small bud of fear blossoming into a beautiful rose. A rose, complete with thorns to protect her. Telantes is no fighter, But she defends her beliefs with passionate uproar when provoked.
In her travels through life, she has found herself a librarian, a scholar of some sort. She studies craftsmanship of many types, traveling the landscape with books at her fingertips, in her cart, to share with people she meets. Those who need an inspiration.
"Come, Look through my books, find one you like... and read it. Maybe, it will bring you your future."
She collects books that are unwanted, and places them in the small cart that she calls her home. She'd never originally planned such a journey for herself, but instead had happened upon it naturally. Collecting books to try and find her own passions, she'd discovered how much nicer that it felt to help others with theirs. "I want to learn to cook!" "Well, dearest, I have just the book you could use", she'd smile, and rustle through her things to provide it. Handing over the leatherbound novel felt like handing someone their chance, a chance to follow the dreams they desire. Telantes, astounded by what people made of the chance she gave them, found her meaning in encouraging others. Supporting them when none others would.
"But would they be proud?"
Telantes is optimistic, loving and kind, but she often still struggles with her doubts. Perhaps, not externally, and not to the extent of causing her legitimate harm or distress, but it is very often she finds herself wondering if those two familiar people in her dreams, her parents, would be proud of who she's become. She has nightmares on occasion where upon meeting them, they have scorned her, and it was in truth that she was abandoned just as she was told by the unsympathetic in her early days. But she chases away those thoughts with determination, and with the support of her parents in her dreams. Perhaps not their real aid, but the perfect view she has of them. She is often scolded for this by others, who warn her not to put too much faith in a stranger, as they're likely to disappoint, but it is the version of her parents she's created for herself that inspires her, and she's willing to accept they might be different if ever she had the chance to meet them.
- She sleeps in a nest- like a bird.
Telantes lives on an island of scholars, where she has built and formed a city in the pursuit of knowledge, and a massive library within a large cave. Collecting knowledge from all around the world, she studies anything she can get her paws on, and anyone who seeks to expand their horizons is always welcome in her home. She spends her days in peaceful reading, lost in fairytales of wonder or learning history or listening to stories from the outsiders who visit her, and the greatest gift you could ever give her is a book she hasn't read.
She is sweet, kind, and motherly, and has no mean bone in her body. She doesn't ask anything in return for teaching anyone beyond an ear wanting to listen to her words. She strives to make the future better for herself, her siblings, and her own children.
In her travels, she has met many people. Some who agree with her views, others who don't. Many find her charming, others still find her naïve, foolish and scold her for supporting worthless ideas. She is, perhaps, gullible in many aspects, and easily taken advantage of by those who extort her kindness.
Telantes wishes often to meet her parents, and asks others about them. In her travels she keeps an eye out for familiarities, events or places or people who may trigger a memory in her mind that may lead her home. She has had no luck so far, but it is a desire she keeps strongly ingrained in her mind. She is often flighty, as despite helping others to pursue their passions she struggles to find something she can connect with and enjoy doing. Sharing the written art is the only hobby or quest she's ever had that really kept her attention. She'll try blacksmithing, leatherworking, cooking, try an instrument, a new language- but quickly grow bored and take to her collection of literature to try to find something new. She may share knowledge, but she isn't very studious herself. Reading can often bore her unless its something new and exciting for her to explore. She may help others find their goals, but she is still missing her own.
She feels, oftentimes, that without finding closure, without meeting the parents who visit her in hazy memories in her sleep, she will not find who she is truly meant to be.
She tends to be reckless and believes very much in the concept of following her heart. She believes that pursuing what her heart tells her will bring her to the right place. If the memories of her parents are the driving force that propels her to seek her destiny, it is her powerful faith in her own possibilities that acts as the wheels allowing her to press on.
She has garnered a reputation, but how she is perceived depends very much who you ask.
Many call her "The dream giver", the one who leads those in need to their purpose. It is through this reputation, that she comes to meet her siblings. The hunter, and the whisperer. Through circumstance, they hear tell of her aid and track down the one they know not to be their own blood. The three become united, coming together with one similarity, that none have found what makes them truly happy in life.
"What I have become, Is my family"
Telantes found in her siblings, ones who meant everything. Others to live for, others to share her happiness with, her ideas and her dreams and her thoughts. She found in them others who struggled in the way that she did, she found peace and unity. She is the thinker, the craftsman of her siblings, the supporter, the morale. She won't give up on their journey.
Through meeting, the three find a piece of them that they've been missing, a purpose. A purpose to find the parents they lost long ago, to find themselves upon this journey.
They are whole only as a family;
And together they are searching for that final piece of their life's puzzle, the key that will make them feel whole.
They have seen the world, and now their mother calls them home in spirit. To share their stories and mend their parent's broken hearts.
After finally meeting her family, she stayed with her parents and siblings for some time, finding her solace and closure with them and learning what they had to teach- and teaching in return. She did not, persay, find any new passion she searched for, but instead found passion in teaching others, realizing what she'd done all along is precisely where she should be. She set out again into the world, now to find a place where truly she would feel as if she could help others. She eventually settled at an island, with the help of a friend she met along the way, a kalon named Marshall. Hearing tales of his unusual features and feats- she'd sought him out to share his story with the world, but instead, she found in him someone who made her happy and helped her to share and develop her own passions. Together they slowly built up the island into a library, a society, a new town of scholars, built on the dreams she had to share and the love they shared together. Eventually, they welcomed their little ones into the world with open arms and high hopes for their futures.
