Arin, the Ruined Prince's Links
"He appears cold and distant, but cares for his friends. A mischievous young lad, and he seems to enjoy reading. As expected of the son of the Archon of knowledge, I suppose. But is knowing everything that there is to know...really a blessing?" [Arin is simply an outsider looking in, closely observing each and every one of Priscilla's friends. What does he think of Rune? Who knows.]
"Ah yes, of course I know Arin. I clearly recall having met him at around the same time I first encountered my... friends. He was very polite and tidy. However, I... don't know much about him. I have been searching for the slightest clue on his past, but not even the archives can tell me. Even now, I only know his name... and that he is a good listener." [Rune is unfamiliar with Arin, despite having grown up with the Arterran butler close by. It frustrates him to not know everything. But he intends to find out.]
"The ever cheerful and polite crown prince of Dytikos. He seems to enjoy the simpler things in life. However, it is always those who smile the most that seem to hide the most pain in their hearts. Why isn't he more honest with his feelings? What is he afraid of?" [Arin is simply an outsider looking in, closely observing each and every one of Priscilla's friends. What does he think of Symeon? Who knows.]
"Arin... He's Priscilla's butler, isn't he? When we were younger, he was often around when we were playing. There was always this strange... aura around him, like there is more to him than meets the eye, but I don't really know much about him. I envy him a little for being around Priscilla still, though, haha... ...Wait, no, how could I say something like that? That must've been insensitive of me... A-after all, I don't even know why he's in Arterra..."
[Feels somewhat intimidated by Arin, despite (or perhaps due to) not knowing much about him. Would like to learn more about him some day, but... is absolutely lost on where to even begin with that. ]
"The crown princess of Arterra, the one I serve. I understand that you are hurting, your Highness, and I wish that I could tell you the truth. But you do know the saying, don't you? Even the walls have ears." [Perhaps they could be considered friends, as Arin is more than willing to listen to her problems and maybe even offer a bit of advice sometimes. But even if he knows about her, Priscilla knows nothing about him.]
"I'm glad at least I have someone to talk to on the daily... Though he's a little... odd, I'm not a stranger to odd people."
-Considers him a friend, or at least a good acquaintance, despite their differences in power.
