--A demon who wants nothing more than to be really powerful to earn the respect of other demons. Instead of trying to earn power naturally and over time, he tries to "cheat", per se, and to do this he tries to absorb magical ability from mortals.

--A lot of magical energy is lost while doing this (and it typically results in the death of whoever is being drained if you try and do it too fast, which SKELETON always does), so SKELETON seeks out only more powerful magic users, users with more innate magic to them, to drain.

--The way he sees it, he gets more powerful faster, and he can do it as fast as he want because then he doesn't have to worry about killing so many people and getting caught by the authorities. 

--Still, it's hard to find a powerful magic user that is both 1. full of magical energy, and 2. dumb enough to not know how to use it (because anyone of even moderate magical ability would be able to easily defeat someone as inexperienced as him), so he only targets the most vulnerable and unaware. 

--His current target is Aster, but it seems someone has taken it upon themselves to protect him... how annoying!
