Early Life

Alastor is the second and youngest child of a renowned alchemist and a general of Hell's army. He never knew his older sister, as she ran away from home and disappeared long before he was born. He was raised primarily under the watchful eye of his father, and was taught to follow in his footsteps and heavily encouraged to persue a career in the field of science. Alastor didn't care much for the technicalities of it, and found himself more invested in the alchemical ingredients his father used instead: herbs, flowers and other plants of all kinds. Instead of taking notes he would be doing botanical sketches in his notebooks, only focusing on the scientific plant names and the properties it carried rather than what sort of wild potions and concoctions could be made with them. He kept his passion for flowers and herbs largely a secret, sneaking to his family's gardens and quietly watching the gardners do their work, wishing he could get his hands dirty and help them plant new flowerbeds.
