A mysterious friend of Faustine's. She has a large family with the same last name. Though she is the only one with a degree so far, technically has 2 degrees. Doesn't like it when people remind her of her first name. (I'm not revealing it yet).
She is a climatologist. Dr. Stripes has gotten into many arguments over time especially since some people think of her work as a hoax. She did lose her temper once on a different politician. Especially since the weather has gotten more extreme lately. One storm wiped out three towns much to the horror of the international community, no survivors either even though those areas are usually well prepared for emergencies. Stripes and many other climatologists and meteorologists are concerned about the new weather behavior already becoming more extreme due to an unusual phenomenon. A freak stellar flare that came from another solar system disturbed the balance of the planet's ecology. The ejected energy scorched a small portion of land as well.
Stripes used to be a medical doctor but after realizing so many of her worse off patients were sickened after the new extreme weather after the event her research later resulted into her going into climatology in order to help with the damage to the planet.
