Selena is a quiet and reserved girl who barely interacts with others or even seems to notice them there. She's always off in her own world, oblivious to the people around her unless they approach her with the same quiet softness as the gardens she inhabits. She is thoughtful, wise, and endlessly kind to those willing to embrace her speed in life and stop to enjoy the calm of the world around them. 

She loves to sing, and can often be found singing to her plants and to herself to fill the silence.

She adores nature, and the natural world, and it seems like she can hear the very whispers of the plants themselves (or perhaps...she's just very good at understanding what they need due to growing up taking care of so many and so many types of them.) She insists that everything has a heartbeat and if you're determined enough- you can certainly fall into the rhythm of the world beside you.

She is very empathetic and patient, but does get a bit anxious around change or if she isn't in her gardens. She doesn't handle being away from them well- or for very long, and she has been known to cry easily if she's taken too far from the place that makes her happy. 

She grew up in a very lush and vivid forest, that slowly began to die around her. Taking it upon herself to save the forest that she spent so much time in as a youngling, she learned to care for various plants and turned the place into her own personal "garden", a throng of trees and plants - an oasis in a larger forest that she called her own. While it isn't a garden by "standard" means- everything grows to its desires, it is something she cares for deeply and rarely leaves. She dwells in a small home she's created in the area, a small cavern she's taken over as hers- where the constant reachings of vine and flowers crawl over the walls. 

While she is very peaceful and generous- she has been known to defend or scare others away from her gardens if she sees them as a threat. She protects the area as an extension of herself.

While she rarely leaves, she does make various products from the plants around her. Scents from the flowers, jams and seeds from the fruits, and makes occasional trips to local towns or villages to trade them for other things she may need. She prefers not to go far from her home.
