Arsene Smith was born to a human couple, who dedicated their lives to being blacksmiths. He had a rather uneventful childhood, but eventually he decided he wanted to see Ebonwall. He joined the Ebonwall Adventurer's Guild as a way to view the country, where he was place into a group with his childhood friend Catabasis, as well as Nara, and Callahan.
