When it comes to Species, these four were there as Fabula was made. It was said that each Sibling represented a part of Fabula. As the war was on, the eggs hatched. One with each sibling:
Thaddeus the oldes, got the middle part. Theodore got old Fabula and Thatcher got new fabula. Thorwig got the elemental and otherwirlds realms. Their birth settled a good score and brought some peace and the arrangement that the kingdoms are one.
Thaddeus, beeing the oldest. Not only represents the old Heart where the humans used to be but the new Heart with the connected kingdoms.

In reality, Thorwig had enough of the controlling and powerhungry ones that he himself planned, plotted and run the Crimson Company. The Crimson Red.
He lured his sibblings to Dookfell mountains and got them trapped. Splitting their souls and memories.
