After 70 generations of being unable to give birth to a child of lustrous white white lotus hued eyes, the Satvrinne finally gave birth to a pair of twins of parents Zavrina Satvrinne and Deryn Merari - it was a daughter Finn and a son Karen. Only after 2 years and due to personal conflicts and differences, the parents divorced, Deryn took custody of Finn as Zavrina took Karen.

The first thing the mother did was to bring her son to get his ear pierced to wear the pair of earrings passed down from generations, given only to the rightly born ones - Zavrina disregarded her daughter as she was taken away by their atheist father. The second thing was to bring him to the church to get him ready for his first time in an educational system - to be a vocation then to take over the family church. She was never a mean person but a mother who cared for her own son as if he was her only child, she wanted him to be loved by many as well as being someone who could love many others as how the Lord would love them. When Deryn passed away when the children became the age of 8, she had to take in her supposed daughter who she hardly met for the past 6 years and unfortunately not just she didn’t want to take in this daughter but also to take in a ‘second’ daughter along with this one. Daughters of her atheist groom? No way but still due to family rule, this daughter needed an earring so each twin wore one earring each. Zavrina decided to just let the daughters do whatever they wanted to do at home with the servants while taking the son to the church with a stricter schedule. The urge to have him be the only heir in her eyes shined brighter than ever. If he forgot a single line from a testament, she would lock him in the nearby catacombs til the next morning in which hopefully he would mesmerize all the words by heart.

He was always a smart child who could advance his studies fairly well, he became a seminarian only at his teenage years - and yet Karen himself hardly had any friends but several other children who were also undertraining for priesthood, he always knew he had a twin sister or two but not just their mother but the sisters never acknowledged him, never asked him about himself nor even played with him while they were in the living room of the same house. The older he became, the more he understood why the sisters behave that way and the more he understood why their mother behaved like that too. He obtained his title as a priest at the age of 19 - just a year before Zavrina passed away due to natural causes. At the funeral where Karen was the organizer, the priest, the sisters didn’t come at all. How cold-hearted of them to not just ignore their awful mother but also a brother who never meant any harm to them.

Karen Satvrinne obtained the title Bishop at the age of 22. Even though he holds grudges against his mother, he was always a responsible person to not throw away all the efforts he's been working hard for the past decades. He didn’t mind this title nor job, he already gained respect from not just the Satvrinne family but also fame within the region they live. He is, no doubt, a celebrity. Life could be boring so he gets interested in spices and such while able to balance out his church works.

His personality and desires for powers increased the moment he met a blue bird...
