Spirits are beings who have never experienced life for themselves yet walk amongst the living to act as guides, omens, manipulators, or passive observers.
Mercy is the spirit of comfort, forgiveness, and their namesake, mercy.
They are often spotted by those who need them the most and appear wearing whatever attire suits the time period & the person's subconscious likes. When not conforming to another's vision of comfort they appear to wear flowing robes wrapped around them with an oversized hood; Fur moving as if perpetually waving in the breeze in an upward direction.
Mercy can interact with the material plane and the people within it - Rare to catch them in the act of doing so since they are more apt to appear as needed rather than haunting a single location. Speaking in blunt hushed monotones that carry no edge of harshness, short almost ambiguous sentences to soothe any emotions of the person they interact with; They also appear to gracefully glide rather than walk with faded transparency near their feet. (Unless actively looking for it - it would never be noticeable to a normal observer)
